In the IHK certificate course to become an Assistant Sommelier (IHK), employees in the gastronomy, hotel, wine trade and tourism industries can expand their wine knowledge in theory and practice while working.

Upon successful completion, participants receive the IHK certificate "Assistant Sommelier" and at the same time the internationally recognised WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines.
The certified Assistant Sommelier (IHK) has a broad knowledge of the world of wines and other alcoholic beverages as well as systematic tasting competence.
