Whether it's a vinotheque, wine event or cellar tasting: everywhere it's not just about facts and background knowledge, but also about sensations and moods. One then speaks of an atmosphere that perceptibly fills a room. Atmospheres, however, can not only be experienced sensually, but also consciously created.

But what are these environmental qualities that radiate "cosiness" or "festivity", for example, and why do they have a direct influence on how we feel? In the advanced seminar to become a wine culture expert (IHK) "Wine and Atmosphere" with Prof. Dr. Andreas Ackermann, Institute for Cultural Studies at the University of Koblenz-Landau, you will pursue this exciting question not only theoretically but also practically by tracking down, documenting and discussing the different atmospheres in the vineyard as well as in the wine cellar, in the museum as well as in the vinotheque.

The insights gained and experiences made in the seminar promote innovative approaches in the atmospheric design of situations and environments in which wine is presented, tasted and interpreted. The special seminar "Wine and Atmosphere" should be a must for every participant, not least for this reason.

This advanced seminar to become a wine culture expert (IHK) can be credited for the specialisations Organic Viticulture or Champagne.
