Klaus Peter Keller is one of the top winemakers who creates fantastic wines from the best terroir with great skill and sensitivity. The ambitious winemaker carefully continues the winery, whose history began in the late 18th century, after his father.

Today, the Dalsheimer vineyard Hubacker covers 35 ha.

The upper Hubacker is still solely owned by the Keller winery and 95% of it is planted with Riesling vines. On the medium-textured, skeleton-rich soil with mighty limestone rock in the subsoil, expressive Rieslings ripen that captivate with their filigree play of fruit and acidity and finest minerality. Yields at Dalsheimer Hubacker are well below 40 hl/ha. The family bible reports on the outstanding qualities of the vineyard as early as the century before last.
