His passion for "Bubbles" and "Bock auf Tüfteln" catapulted Niko Brandner to the top of the German sparkling wine scene within a very short time. Now comes the next coup: from apples, quinces, currants and hops from regional organic farms and meadow orchards, the likeable winemaker has pressed fine sparkling and semi-sparkling wines in the best bottle fermentation and pet-nat manner.
As with the Griesel sparkling wines, the same applies here: Low intervention in the cellar! This means that the must is only slightly sulphured, the base wine ferments spontaneously and is bottled without fining and filtration.in December, Niko popped the crown corks on the sidelines of a vinocentral livestream as a little foretaste. And that's not all: On Sunday, 16 May, at 4 p.m.(!) we will go out into the meadows of the Hessian Bergstrasse with a picnic basket and present the sparkling fruit wines in detail together with Niko Brandner.
