We - Peter Bothmann and Dr Bettina Paust - have put both our passions into a joint format that combines art, wine and culinary delights.
Bettina Paust is an art historian and tells captivating stories about artists and their works. For Peter Bothmann, everything revolves around wine and he runs the BODA-WEINHAUS in Wuppertal with great passion. His affinity for art comes from photography.
With "Kunst in Häppchen", both have developed a format that combines art, wine and culinary delights in a very special way. In a loose sequence, Bettina Paust tells the story of the life and artistic work of Frida Kahlo, one of the most exciting artists of our time, in "six courses". Each of the six stages is accompanied by a canapé, the creation of which relates to a work of art, a creative phase or an event from Frida Kahlo's life. Peter Bothmann selects the matching wines for the six appetisers and presents them charmingly with all kinds of anecdotes.
An evening-long programme that combines art, wine and small delicacies in the special atmosphere of the BODA-WEINHAUS and leaves plenty of room for stimulating conversation.
