The Baden Country Wine Market is being held in Efringen-Kirchen for the second time. The initiators now want to build on the success story of the first edition.
The patron of the fifth edition of the Baden Country Wine Market is Andreas März. März is known as the publisher and editor-in-chief of "Merum", the magazine for wine and olive oil from Italy, which has been published for 30 years. He is regarded as one of the most critical and well-informed specialised journalists when it comes to Italian wine and olive oil.
For another highlight, the so-called "Masterclass", the winegrowers were able to win over Anne Krebiehl, a wine expert of international renown. The Black Forest native has lived in London for many years and was only the second German wine expert to be awarded the title of Master of Wine in 2014. She writes primarily for English-language publications, appears as a lecturer and advises restaurants on wine selection.
Anne Krebiehl will offer a masterclass on three topics and provide an in-depth insight into the topics "Winzersekte", "Gutedel & Freunde" (WB; GB; Chardonnay; Piwi Weiß) and "Pinot Noir in depth" (subject to a fee, with advance booking).
All winemakers will be present and look forward to lively discussions.
