It was in Fornovo, Italy, that the Vini di Vignaioli fair was born in 2002.
Its creator, Christine Marzani - a former Parisian restaurant owner and one of the first importers of natural Italian wines in Paris - has turned it into a trade fair that today welcomes nearly 200 winemakers.
In 2016, Claudia Galterio - an oenologist in Italy, importer in Paris and daughter of the Bellotti school - suggested to Christine that she bring the fair to France, launching the creation of Vini di Vignaioli in Paris and then of Copenaghen.
The intention of Vini di Vignaioli is to share with France the singular stories of men and women, artisan winemakers, who, thanks to their passion and respect for nature, succeed in moving people with wines characteristic of their terroir, whose quality makes them digestible, unique and alive.
The winemakers are selected according to the quality charter defined for Vini di Vignaioli in Italy (text of the charter available on the website) and is based on a firm and founding principle: "Whether in the cellar or in the vineyards, the winemaker says what he does and does what he says
