People have always been fascinated by colours, whether in nature or in art - and so red wine fascinates us and often has a special appeal to our palates.
We will show you and explain the most important red grape varieties and their wines - where does the colour come from, what methods does the winemaker use to preserve it, change it and extract the best flavours from it, what are the "best" red varieties and much more.
Our speaker is a viticultural technician and can answer all your questions on this topic in detail - you will gain a valuable insight into red wine production!
Of course, we will taste red wines from all over the world - from Cabernet Sauvignon to Shiraz, from Dornfelder to Pinot Noir. This will give you a well-founded overview and comparison of these varieties.
This seminar is ideal as an advanced seminar after the basic seminar, but is also suitable without any previous knowledge.
Ten different wines will be tasted during the evening. There will be table water, bread and delicious cheese specialities and salami during the break.
