Tempranillo - Spectrum of a great grape variety

The most important red grape variety in Spain with many names: Tinto Fino, Tinta de Toro or Cencibel. All these names actually mean Tempranillo. They are the names of various Spanish dialects and regional languages. It produces dark, bouquet-rich and long-lasting red wines, and because of its fairly low acidity, it is popular with many wine drinkers. Mild and fruity on the palate, the wines of this grape variety acquire a wonderful, velvety smoothness with age.
