in 2018, he set up his own business in a small vaulted cellar in the centre of Nierstein. His vineyard is only 4.5 ha in size, and the various plots are up to 40 km apart. But every single one of them has something special: the grapes for his wines come from the top vineyards of the Rote Hang, the surroundings of the Zellertal and one of the finest provenances of the Wonnegau. Connoisseurs' ears are ringing! especially since Felix Peters has another passion: Burgundy. He has worked in the Domaine de la Vougeraie, and from Henri Boillot he obtains used tonneaux. He vinifies his Nieder-Flörsheim Pinot Blanc Roche Calcaire and the Mölsheim Pinot Noir Schwarzer Herrgott in them. The Riesling local wine Roter Schiefer from the Nierstein vineyards "Ölberg", "Hipping" and the insider tip "Schloß Schwabsberg" matures in stainless steel.
