This course is aimed at anyone who has not yet had much to do with wine and would now like to take their first steps towards learning more about wine.

This wine seminar for beginners deals with the questions of what wine actually is, how it can be categorised, how it is made and what its ingredients are.

The focus of the seminar is on wine sensory analysis. What can you see, smell and taste in wine, how can your own sensory impressions be described and how can the wine be assessed on this basis. How to arrive at the wines you like best with more certainty.

The topics of wine temperature, glasses, decanting, resealing and storing wine are also covered.

By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to handle wine more confidently and independently and understand wine better.

Seminar objective: Introduction to the world of wine, more conscious and independent handling of wine, introduction to professional wine tasting, initial basic knowledge.

Target group: Beginners with little or no previous knowledge. Maximum 15 people.

Services included: Seminar with tasting of six wines, 0.75 litre mineral water, snack, bread and seminar documentation.

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
