This course is aimed at all those who have not yet dealt much with wine and now want to take the first steps towards more knowledge about wine.

This wine seminar for beginners deals with the questions of what wine actually is, how it can be classified, how it is produced and what its ingredients are.

The focus of the seminar is on wine sensory analysis. What can one see, smell and taste in wine, how can one describe one's own sensory impressions and how can the wine be evaluated on this basis. How to arrive more safely at the wines you like best.

Furthermore, the topics of wine temperature, glasses, decanting, reclosing and storing wine are covered.

Thus, at the end of the seminar, participants will be able to handle wine more confidently and independently and to understand wine better.

Seminar objective: Introduction to the world of wine, more conscious and independent handling of wine, introduction to professional wine tasting, first basic knowledge.

Target group: Beginners with little or no previous knowledge. Maximum 15 people.

Services: Seminar with tasting of six wines, 0.75l mineral water, snack, bread and seminar documentation.

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
