WineAutumn at Schillerplatz
A small wine village awaits you from 17-20 September 2020 around the Schiller Monument to the Fastnachtsbrunnen.
In keeping with the spirit of Mainz as Great Wine Capital, the square will feature wines from Rheinhessen and other Rhineland-Palatinate regions, as well as from Spain and Portugal, including organic and vegan wineries.
Diversity is therefore guaranteed.
But the culinary delights will not be neglected either.
In addition to the gastronomy around Schillerplatz, the stands offer steaks and bratwurst fresh from the grill, burgers, crêpes, various cold tapas as well as the Mainz classic in cold and warm: Fleischwurst and Weck!
Of course, in keeping with the season, homemade onion tart and Federweisser will be on offer.
Common to all the wine stands is the high standard of quality, reflected in gold and silver medals at international tastings.
