Do you already have some basic knowledge of wine or have you successfully completed the WSET® Qualification Level 1 - Wines course and would like to learn more about the subject? Then you should attend the WSET® Qualification Level 2 - Wines course.
This four-day course focuses on viticulture and winemaking and their influence on the different wine styles and qualities. In addition, the most important wine-growing countries in the world are covered and you will learn interesting facts about sparkling, liqueur and sweet wines
Contents of the three-day course:
- The influence of environmental factors, viticulture and winemaking on the style and quality of a wine
- The most important white and red wine grape varieties in the world
- The most important wine-growing regions in the world
- Labelling
- Sparkling, sweet and liqueur wines
- Important basics in wine and food pairing
- Wine storage and service
- Tasting correctly using the WSET Level 2 SAT tasting system
Examination:
Questionnaire with 50 multiple-choice questions, which must be answered without further aids within 60 minutes.
The examination is passed if 55% of all questions are answered correctly.
