The distance learning programme allows you to prepare for the sommelier exam while working. Set the pace of learning and expand your expertise and skills in wine.
Your curriculum includes the wine countries of the New World, current trends and developments in the wine world, the aspects of sensory analysis, intensive tasting training and general beverage knowledge, as well as questions of wine law.
During this course, however, you will also deal intensively with business management issues and the topic of marketing, which is so important today.
The further training includes modern study letters, webinars and an extensive learning platform with a media library.
Few attendance phases are used for tasting techniques and exam preparation.
You take the final examination before the autonomous examination board of the IHK.
You need a gastronomic or commercial education, one year of work experience and proof of a 14-day internship.
