The main focus is on the main grape varieties and the most important wine regions of the world, as well as labelling terminology. Integrated wine tastings are also part of each lesson. In addition to the still wines of the world, sparkling wines, sweet wines, fortified wines and liqueurs are included in the WSET Awards syllabus.
You will receive the course materials approx. 4 - 6 weeks before the start of the course. It is essential that you familiarise yourself with the content in advance. The standardised examination takes place on the afternoon of the last day of the course as part of a multiple-choice test with a total of 50 questions.
Upon successful completion, participants receive the certificate for the internationally recognised WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines.
