Join me on a treasure hunt between art and Keuper at the foot of the Schwanberg in Iphofen.
As we stroll along the old town wall, we will experience the delightful contrast between the old and modern architecture that brings the town of Iphofen to life. The oversized, colourful Bocksbeutel (bocks bags) that line the path are a characteristic feature of the region and add a special touch to the surroundings.
On the way to the historical vineyard, we will learn many interesting facts about geology, climate change and the quality work of the winegrowers. The metres of elevation gain reward us with breathtaking views of the Iphofen wine landscape.
During our tour, we will have the opportunity to savour the appropriate MEND wines from the surrounding area during drinking breaks. A classic tour usually lasts around 2.5 hours and includes the tasting of an aperitif and various MEND wines.
To fully enjoy the experience, a group of at least 10 people is required. The price is 19 euros per person.
