Expand your knowledge of wine and experience more flavour! The influence of winemaking on flavour is the focus of this seminar.
The work of the winemaker in the wine cellar and the winemaking process can have a considerable influence on the flavour of the wine.
In this seminar we taste wines that have been produced in different ways, discover the differences and learn to describe them. Wooden barrels and barriques are among the topics covered. At the same time, you will learn how and why these differences come about and what this means for food pairing.
Another topic is the information on the wine label: what does it say and how does it help us to choose a wine? You will learn how to handle wine more consciously and independently and find the wines that you like best more quickly and confidently.
Smelling and tasting, seeing and feeling: You will train your perception and become more confident in tasting wine. There will also be time for your questions in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Seminar objective: Knowledge of winemaking and its influence on flavour, understanding of wine labels, more confidence when selecting wine and pairing food and wine
Target group: Beginners with previous knowledge and experienced wine drinkers who want to know more, maximum 15 people.
